The HP OfficeJet 4500 / G510a is primarily designed to use HP 901 and HP 901XL ink cartridges. In some cases, certain printer variants may also support the HP 300 series, depending on the model and region – which is why this cartridge series is also shown in the list of compatible products below. However, it's important to note that HP 901 and HP 300 cartridges must not be mixed in the same printer, as they are not designed to work together.
